--> I believe that this song emplifies the proper use of imagery because of it's main topic; war, and fighting in the Army. Within the first few lines, the singer already creates a sense of being "in the fray" of battle, currently after a fierce battle, regrouping and surveying the damage during the night. The hatred of being out there, fighting someone else's war, and leaving your homeland to risk your life to prove the point of polititians and leaders leads to the eventual burning desire to kill to survive. After the fighting is over, he feels ashamed and is fearful of what the reprocussions of his actions may be.

And when the singer says "Lock up your wife vand children now," you can picture a man locking his family in a secret basement so no harm can befall them. And the line "Killing scores with demon swords," you can picture hundreds of people being massacrede by men with evil-augmented blades, riding from willage to village killing for fun.
